Nea Peramos is this heavenly place in Greece, near Kavala, with a beautiful beach, perfect for camping. I hadn't had the pleasure to sleep in a tent before but now that I have, I'd certainly do it again. And I have, actually. I went there twice already.
And I found a new piece of happiness. Do you know how amazing it is to open your eyes and the first thing you see is the sea! Well, okay, maybe the second, since the first is the top of the tent. But still.
This beach we found, it's not too popular but it doesn't lack people either. There are some dunes that separate it from the road and are a great place for a grill for example. The water's crystal clear - so clear that you can see the little fish swimming in it. There's a cafe and a little place where you can buy water and other beverages - in case you don't go prepared. There's also a public bathroom but there are only beach showers, so it's not exactly fit for more than a couple of nights. But it's great for a weekend.
